Despite the fact that my initial campaigning was for Time's Man of the Century, I won't lie.  The honor feels wonderful.  I have finally been recognized by my peers in the international media industry.  To paraphrase one of the ancient philosophers, I'm the best there is at what I do, and what I do is very nice.  Word.

This achievement has been eight long years in the making.  And while this achievement is technically only 1% as good as winning the Man of the Century honor, it is a huge step for myself.
